LA Preview: The 2017 Cadillac CT6 Plug-In Hybrid gets detailed ahead of its debut

We’re at the heels of the 2016 Los Angeles International Auto Show, and Cadillac has a new CT6 to show off.

What’s going on?

A car dealership in Los Angeles is what happens. Although we are not at the forefront of this year, we are still here to present you the highlights and what to expect from this year’s show.

Help him – the new 2017 Cadillac CT6 hybrid module, the latest addition to the latest Caddy flagship model. And yes, as the name implies, this new CT6 is a hybrid option with plugin capabilities.

So what’s new?

The 2017 Cadillac CT6 Hybrid Plug-in begins its life as the Cadillac CT6 … obviously. Then it has a total mileage of over 400 miles. This is achieved thanks to the latest 2.0 liter Cadillac turbocharged 2.0 liter connected to the EVT twin-engine system. The end result is good for 335 horsepower and 432 lb-ft of torque in total horsepower.

Each electric motor provides about 100 horses each, which means that the gas engine provides only 135 hp. However, the Cadillac has a top speed of 15 mph, an all-electric range from 30 mph to 78 mph and great fuel economy.

How much extra fuel economies will one get with the CT6 Plug-In Hybrid?

Cadillac does not currently have official numbers, as the CT6 Plug-In Hybrid is awaiting its official EPA rating. But the company estimates the figure at 65 mpg. In any case, the CT6 hybrid module is clearly aimed at those who are tired of the Lexus hybrid status quo.
